Winter: Demands rest and time to take care ..
Ginger is one of the best teas to this season for its qualities to heat, and other wonderful qualities we see in this space. I will recommend the ginger compresses, this pack will help ease the pain of the lower back and energize the kidneys if you feel tired. The heat of the ginger stimulates circulation and nourishes the descending energy of the body. It is better to seek help from a partner, a friend or your daughter to help with this, but you can also do it by yourselves if necessary.
To make the napkin, put boil 3 quarts of water in a stainless steel pan. When the water boils, cuts a piece of fresh ginger and scratches, shows the juice and add water, add the grated ginger in a bag for infusions or in a suitable fabric. Securely tighten the bag on the water, and then releasing entire inside of the pan. Lower the heat and let the ginger water boil for a few minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and let stand 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, take some blankets and put them on the floor, take a small towel. Rub sesame oil in the lower back. Then, before lie, take the small towel, holding both ends, and dip it in the water bucket ginger. Drain excess water. Cover the pan with a lid to keep warm, test the temperature of the towel on the arm when you are at a comfortable temperature, fold the towel and put it directly on the kidney area, just below the last rib. You can leave the palm to add pressure.
Stay between 5 and 10 minutes, resting and breathing deeply. Repeat this 3 to 5 times. After treatment, rub again sesame oil in the lower back, and savor the feeling of heat in the lower part of your back.
Feel how you take care !!!

Yoga retreat
I just arrived to Stockholm last sunday after a beautiful summer, as every summer I had a yoga retreat, this time it was with Jose Luis Cabezas and Julia Attemborough, experts in Dynamic yoga, a method created by Godfrey Deveraux.
The experience was deep and nourishing.
The way was to find out the inherent purpose of yoga, the unity of mind, body and spirit in one word, INTEGRATION. Body and mind integration, structure and function integration, integration of body parts each other, integration of actions of the whole body, integration of movement and breathing.
we explore sensitizing the body, recognizing and appreciating the subtle sensations. I discovered that the sensations intensity it is not yoga's goal. Intense sensations indicate that the tissues are experiencing violence, so, we practiced sensitizing, smoothing joints and muscles. Rooting, widening, lengthening, soften and remaining always with as much steady and relaxed as possible.
I tried to be honest with myself respecting the pose, my own pose, avoiding actions that could't be save or enriching. I tried to be present towards what really happens, cultivating sensibility, honesty, opening, and generosity.......
