Yoga retreat
I just arrived to Stockholm last sunday after a beautiful summer, as every summer I had a yoga retreat, this time it was with Jose Luis Cabezas and Julia Attemborough, experts in Dynamic yoga, a method created by Godfrey Deveraux.
The experience was deep and nourishing.
The way was to find out the inherent purpose of yoga, the unity of mind, body and spirit in one word, INTEGRATION. Body and mind integration, structure and function integration, integration of body parts each other, integration of actions of the whole body, integration of movement and breathing.
we explore sensitizing the body, recognizing and appreciating the subtle sensations. I discovered that the sensations intensity it is not yoga's goal. Intense sensations indicate that the tissues are experiencing violence, so, we practiced sensitizing, smoothing joints and muscles. Rooting, widening, lengthening, soften and remaining always with as much steady and relaxed as possible.
I tried to be honest with myself respecting the pose, my own pose, avoiding actions that could't be save or enriching. I tried to be present towards what really happens, cultivating sensibility, honesty, opening, and generosity.......

WINTER time listening and
learning
Spontaneously, especially those who
come from the Mediterranean , we think that winter is the hardest
season to wear. The cold and darkness proper of this season in
Sweden, push us to remain refugees , sheltered home, relaxing stay
... But how can we remain in the winter peace without anxiously
looking for a plan or run into some event that distract us , which
relieves us of the " burden" of time we spend with
ourselves?
Winter , strangely , has much to teach
us about the true beauty and wisdom. Now when the land was stripped
of the flowers, the leaves have fallen and the trees reveal her naked
being composed of skeletal branches , roots buried in a wasteland .
It is a landscape that inspires respect and attention in the midst of
an icy silence.
When we look the nature as a master ,
we discovered that we are being given an extended
opportunity to hibernate and renew .
The New Year is a call to reflect on
the past , appreciate what we have and delude ourselves with the
future. It's time to look within and make time for deep rest , to
heal , relax and rejuvenate.
In winter , do not forget , it's worth
thinking about how the rest is not something vague and unproductive
that, many times , we deny ourselves by prejudices that are part of
the lifestyle , ideology , that modern and misguided society
despises, and forgets the serenity and balance.

WINTER, Meet the rest
Winter , although it may be one of the most difficult to carry season, can be one of the ones we can teach them about us . Nature is stripped of its flowers, leaves and heat, the earth at rest, reveals her nakedness through the trees stripped of their leaves, and scarcity of production gives us great respect. Nature reflects us long to hibernate and renew chance. The dark winter brings Christmas season celebrations and rituals that remind us that we connect with our inner light , with the potential of our soul shine, and the New Year , a call to reflect on the past , appreciate the present and dream of the future .
However, while the nature say one thing , modern society says quite another , and then , the wisdom of Winter is ignored , and we see the break as unproductive and unnecessary and perhaps underestimating the rest of the winter have to do with avoiding look for us that we dislike , that bothers us ... But look at us as we are, help you to get in the light, to recognize all that is in us and perhaps, to find a creative way to do things another way to be better with ourselves.
There is a practical winter that I love and that I will share with you.
Are the " ginger compresses " ginger besides being one of the best tea to this station for its qualities to heat serves, to relieve lower back pain and energize the kidneys when you're exhausted. Heat ginger stimulates circulation and nourishes the body's energy descending .
To make compresses, bring to a boil three liters of water in a stainless steel pan . When the water begins to boil , mash a piece of fresh ginger and squeeze the juice into the boiling water , grated ginger you put in a piece of cloth and securely tightened you drop it into the pot, the pot lids .
Use small towels , grab one of them and holding both ends , dip it in hot ginger water . Test the temperature of the towel on the arm , when at a comfortable temperature , fold the towel and put it directly on the kidney area just below the last rib . Stay a while until the towel to cool and repeat with another towel . Repeat this 3 to 5 times . After treatment , rub with sesame oil lower back.
Enjoy the warm feeling !

Autumn Harvest
Fall is for me a time of chilly wind, golden light, memories of childhood when they began the first day of school and I was excited to meet my friends.
I am inspired to continue with the projects that were to finish before the holidays, I love the idea of preparing for winter.
Since I live in Sweden, I feel the magic of this season, each day shows us how nature prepares for her long hibernation and invites us to do the same. When the wind starts blowing cool autumn, we need to see the sign that tells us that it's time to slow down, that now is the time to internalize, organize, save and slow down fast summer and stress modern life often requires. We need to create that space within us.
When trees leaves drop down, it wither, decay and merge with the earth again, it is time to drop and to pick up the essentials for the winter. Now is the time to reap the fruits of the previous months and see what grew and flourished.
Intuitively, we spend more time at home with our families, involved in projects, studying. We are more contract retreating not only our homes but our inner and amotional worlds, something very different from the carefree summer season.
I think it's time to spend more time alone, to see what has been achieved, what grew and flourished in me, what was unfinished and move it to my inner world, spiritual and creative. Tonight I ask myself what is important, and what I'm bringing my dream to winter, and what I will leave behind? What'll drop to wither how the leaves of a tree?
